Danish Anne-Marie Rindom finishes 4th of ILCA 6 Women World Championship in Oman. Her result is enough though to secure back SSL Women World n°1 ranking she lost just two weeks ago to Martine Grael .
A disappointing final race day for the Olympic champion as she was leading the board on Day 5 . She ends 36th and 19th on Day 6 giving room for her competitors to squeeze onto the podium. Just like in 2020, Rindom ends Laser Radial World Championship just outside the podium.
After a thrilling Final Day, Emma Plasschaert (SSL Women RK n°14) and Vasileia Karachaliou (SSL Women RK n°20) finish with an exact points number. Finally a 3rd place in the last race offers the Belgian sailor her second World crown after 2018 victory in Aarhus. Viktorija Andrulyte (SSL RK n°513) from Lithuania finishes 3rd.
